Cinnamon Buttercream
Guys, I’ve found a new favorite treat to eat by the spoonful. Sorry Nutella, move aside, this is now my go to addition to any baked treat. And soon, it will be yours too! Today I bring you Cinnamon Buttercream.
As we have mentioned multiple times before, here at LDBaking we love Fall. And nothing says Fall quite like cinnamon! This frosting is the perfect addition to any cake or cupcake this season and it’s a definite crowd pleaser! Check back this week for two recipes using this frosting! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp clear vanilla
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp. water (more if needed)
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in the mixer and mix until smooth and spreadable. If you desire a looser consistency, add more water 1 tsp. at a time.
- Frost cupcake, cake, cookie, donut, etc… and enjoy!
Oh this is fantastic! I can just picture it smeared on a cookie or piped onto a cupcake. I love all things cinnamon!
Me too- anything with cinnamon has my name all over it! This would be so good on cookies! I’ll have to try that next time 🙂
