This is a look at that one time I was a roller derby chick…
Two friends, miles apart, who love to bake!
I love St. Patrick’s Day! I love that people wear green. I love that I am Irish so I can wear one of those “Kiss Me I’m Irish” t-shirts and it’s true (I’ve actually never worn one of those shirts though). I love whiskey (really only Fireball, something Stephanie and I both like). But perhaps most importantly, I love St. Patrick’s Day because I love corned beef. Seriously, I look forward to every March 17 because I know that for dinner I will be having corned beef and cabbage with carrots and red potatoes. Yes, I even like the cabbage.

Is there any combination better than orange and dark chocolate?? Well, maybe peanut butter and chocolate. But orange and dark chocolate is a close second! You know those chocolate oranges you get at Christmas? That you have to smack on the table to open? These …
It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day!! To be honest, this isn’t a holiday I’ve ever really cared about. Or maybe I’ve just fallen into the above mentioned category of using the day as an excuse to go out with friends.
I don’t know about you, but all of my coworkers are either A) really healthy or B) still doing well on their resolutions to be really healthy. And good for them! But…that wasn’t my resolution. I’m not unhealthy be any means, but I’m also not …
So, have you seen the milkshake food truck driving around in your area recently? Exactly, there isn’t one (well maybe there is but I haven’t seen it!) and that’s what I want to drive one day. Seriously, I’d love to own a milkshake truck because I LOVE milkshakes! I consider myself a milkshake connoisseur and a somewhat milkshake snob. I believe the best milkshakes are the ones that require a spoon and straw. Chocolate milkshakes should never be made with chocolate ice cream, but with with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. And, when at a restaurant, the best part of the milkshake comes not in the pretty glass but in the cold tin cup. Like I said, I LOVE milkshakes! Continue reading Mint (Thin Mint) Mocha Milkshakes
