Pear Whiskey Ginger
“She likes whiskey with her water”. “Every time you kiss me it’s like sunshine and whiskey”. “We could straight up blame it on the whiskey”. “She’s my little whiskey girl”.
Not to brag…but pretty sure all of those country songs were written with me in mind. My name is Stephanie. And whiskey is my fav (insert sassy brunette emoticon here).
Now I’m not a whiskey expert by any means. I’ve never done a whiskey tasting and I couldn’t describe the subtle differences between kinds, but I know enough to know I love whiskey.
Last summer I was all about the whiskey lemonades. During the winter it was whiskey cider. And now? Whiskey ginger. Hands down.
To put a fall twist on my current obsession I added some pear cider and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Let’s just say it did not disappoint. The cinnamon really makes all the difference!
I’m imagining this drink at our fall holiday parties, tailgates, maybe even Thanksgiving dinner?? I hope you give this a try even if you’re not a huge whiskey fan. This just might change your mind!

YUM! I love Crown with Ginger Ale. Is that conidered a whiskey ginger? I had no idea! But if that’s the case, I love whiskey gingers! This sounds delicious with pear.
Yes! That’s exactly it! Imagine just a fall edition of that…and you have this drink! You’ll have to let me know if you try it 🙂

Thanks Aimee!
I’ve never really been too big on whiskey, but I’ve also never had many cocktails with it! This could change everything.
Yes, you should give it another try!
