Happy Friday Eveyone! I am so happy to announce that we have our first guest post on LDBaking!! Meet my good friend and sorority sister, Elise!! Elise and I met as sorority sisters in Alpha Chi Omega at USC. She is currently a law student in San Diego and the author and creator of her style blog called Elise Marie Goes on a Shopping Spree. Seriously, go check out her blog now!! She posts the most fashionable and stylish outfits/accessories. I want her to redo my wardrobe! Today is a treat because she is blogging about some amazing cooking gadgets that everyone should have the kitchen. After reading this, I need to go shopping now and get some of these for myself! Check out her kitchen gadgets below then stop by her blog for some style inspiration! Thank you, Elise 🙂

Hello!

When Kelly asked me to write a post about my favorite kitchen tools, I was the most excited! First of all, I absolutely LOVE Long Distance Baking and have bookmarked almost all of their recipes to try at some point! Second, while I absolutely love clothing and shopping for clothes, I have a serious weakness for all kitchen gadgets. Enjoy!
WILLIAMS SONOMA:
I am LOVING this apron, and I (weirdly) don’t have an apron yet – I need to buy one! I love ice cream, so naturally an ice cream scooper had to make my favorites list! I also eat a lot of strawberries and avocados, so naturally the strawberry huller and avocado cuber would just make my life easier! Also, the whisk listed below is FABULOUS. I meandered into Williams Sonoma the other day and tested out this whisk below and it is HIGH QUALITY (it may be making it’s way into my kitchen soon…).

SUR LA TABLE:
I absolutely love Sur la Table! It is so hard to walk into this store without walking out without buying something. I absolutely love my French Press coffee maker (although I have not yet managed to make really good french press coffee). I also have the two skillets here and I use both of them at least 5-6 times a week. They are absolutely essential to my kitchen! The rest, I have found myself really in need of – I could really use another (cute) timer, a zester/garnisher/scorer (honestly just the zester, but why not get all of them in one?), and definitely a copper tea kettle. How classic is the kettle?

Whenever I am baking, the FIRST thing I pull out is my wooden spoon – it’s my favorite baking tool!
